Google today said it is prepared to kill off its Inbox email alternative. Google first introduced Inbox as a different way to approach email. It offered customizable, focused inboxes and helped people manage promotions, social media updates, and more through dedicated channels. Many of these features have now been ported over to the main Gmail service. “Over the past 4 years you’ve helped us make email better. We’ve brought popular Inbox features to @Gmail helping 1B+ people get more done. Thank you,” said the company via Twitter. “We’ll be focusing on Gmail & saying bye to Inbox at the end of March 2019.” The company has posted a guide on its support site in order to help people transition from Inbox to Gmail.
